Paul Gerrard

Paul F. Gerrard is a motorsports professional whose career encompasses competitive racing, precision and stunt driving, television, coaching, and authorship. Gerrard began his career in Europe, earning a Winfield Scholarship that led to racing formula cars in both Europe and the United States. He later transitioned to sports car racing and began instructing a diverse range of drivers, including military special forces, aspiring racers, and teen drivers. Gerrard has competed in numerous national championships, participated in events such as Pikes Peak, and raced in professional road racing series. He also achieved a top-three world ranking in vehicle jumping distance for a Hot Wheels stunt.

Gerrard served as The Stig on "Top Gear America" for eight years and has appeared on British "Top Gear," as well as "The Grand Tour," "MythBusters," "Speedmakers," and "Supercars Exposed." He is recognized for presenting automotive topics and simplifying technology and driving concepts for audiences of all levels. Gerrard is also an expert witness in high-level automotive court cases.
