Patrick Dossett

Patrick Dossett is a former U.S. Navy SEAL officer, entrepreneur, and wellness advocate whose career spans military service, technology, and the science of human potential. Dossett served nine years as a U.S. Navy SEAL, holding various leadership roles. He earned a Bachelor of Science in oceanography from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business as a Tillman Military Scholar. He has received multiple awards and commendations for his service and leadership.

After his military service, Dossett co-founded the Tip of the Spear Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting the special operations community. He later worked in technology at Google and went on to co-found Madefor, where he served as CEO. Madefor, co-founded with Blake Mycoskie, is a ten-month program that applies neuroscience, positive psychology, and health and wellness principles to help individuals improve mental and physical well-being and develop habits for peak performance. The program is supported by a team of experts, including Lead Scientific Advisor Dr. Andrew Huberman, and is available at no cost to the military community.

Dossett has contributed to the accessibility of wellness science through various platforms. He authored "The Madefor Method," a guide designed to help readers improve performance using evidence-based practices. He also hosts "Basecamp with Pat Dossett," a series of live conversations with scientists, psychologists, and peak performers, translating the science of wellness and human potential into practical steps. Guests have included neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Huberman and research psychologist Angela Duckworth. Through his writing, podcasting, and speaking, Dossett shares leadership experience and wellness expertise with audiences interested in personal development, neuroscience, and human performance.
