Patrice Maffre is the recently-appointed International Head of Investing Banking at the global financial services group Nomura, where he has worked for over 16 years. Previously, he served as Executive Director with the Lehman Brothers, where he was responsible for all leveraged finance products, focused on originating the debt financing to support buyouts in France and Spain, and provided support for corporate recapitalisation in those countries.
Maffre has underscored Nomura’s commitment to expanding its private placements business in response to increasing global demand for private capital. He has attributed the success of Nomura’s private markets endeavors to a combination of sector expertise, regional presence, and strong relationships with global investors.
