As a first-generation Haitian American, Dauphin has addressed challenges related to eating disorders, body image, and confidence while pursuing on-camera opportunities in film, television, acting, dance performance, and fitness videos, including Richard Simmons' "Tonin' to the Oldies 5" and Misty Tripoli's "BodyGROOVE." After working in corporate environments, Dauphin transitioned to a career as a dance teaching artist and arts educator in K-12 schools, colleges, and dance and fitness studios. Her dance background includes House, Salsa, Hip Hop, West African, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian, Samba, and Jazz.
As a dance and fitness instructor, Dauphin integrated coaching and storytelling into her classes, helping students develop a deeper mind-body-spirit connection. This approach led to the creation of the Rock Your Life Danceshops series, a hybrid coaching and workshop model. Dauphin has worked with the LA LGBT Center in Hollywood, providing Rock Your Body Danceshops to transgender members and facilitating group discussions and life coaching on body image, body confidence, and goal setting. She has also served as executive board member of African Rhythms Drum and Dance Troupe and as a judge for the NAACP ACT-SO Competition in the dance category.
Dauphin is the creator of the Rock Your Life Danceshops and founder of Feel Good Kick Ass, a coaching and training enterprise that supports clients in reimagining their professional and personal lives. She draws on her experience as a dance educator, choreographer, fitness instructor, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) facilitator to offer trauma-informed coaching that addresses the impacts of racism and supports client growth. Dauphin has served as a DEI lead teacher and member of a race and equity strategic planning team in education, facilitating professional development and co-creating a roadmap for racial equity and justice in organizational leadership. She has also developed a master class on Teachable focused on understanding and dismantling white supremacy culture in the workplace and personal life.
Dauphin is the author of the award-winning book "Feel Good Kick Ass Confidence," which presents an interdisciplinary approach to personal growth by integrating dance, fitness, and spirituality. The book provides practical tools for building confidence, setting boundaries, and achieving personal and professional goals through movement and intuition. Dauphin's work centers on empowering clients, audiences, and readers to live confidently and authentically, using body-based practices to clarify and pursue their aspirations.
