Oscar Piastri

Oscar Piastri is a prodigy in the world of motorsports. Hailing from Australia, he has spent his professional career racing for McLaren in Formula One. His journey to this prestigious position has been marked by several significant accomplishments. In 2019, Piastri emerged victorious in the Formula Renault Eurocup. This success was shortly followed by championship wins in the FIA Formula 3 in 2020 and the FIA Formula 2 in 2021. These consecutive victories established Piastri as a force to be reckoned with and placed him in the elite group of drivers who have been able to clinch both the GP3/F3 and GP2/F2 titles in successive years.

Piastri made his grand entrance into the Formula One circuit at the 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix. His prowess on the track was quickly recognized as he clinched his first podium finish at the 2023 Japanese Grand Prix. This made him the first rookie to achieve this feat since 2017. Among his recognitions, he has been awarded the FIA Rookie of the Year (2021, 2023), Autosport Awards Rookie of the Year (2020, 2021, 2023), Anthoine Hubert Award (2021), Sir Jack Brabham Award (2020, 2021, 2024), and the Joe Tandy Memorial Trophy (2017). The Victorian Sports Awards also named him Young Athlete of the Year in 2021.
