Northeast Party House is a six-piece alternative dance-rock band from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in 2010 by a group of high school friends, the band first gained attention after winning Triple J’s Unearthed competition with their breakout track "Dusk." This early recognition led to appearances at major festivals like Falls Festival and Pyramid Rock, setting the tone for their high-energy, genre-blending style.
Their debut EP in 2011 introduced a sound that fuses guitar-driven indie rock with pulsing electronic dance beats—an identity that’s only grown stronger with each release. Albums like Any Given Weekend (2014), Dare (2016), and Shelf Life (2020) have earned the band critical acclaim and a loyal following.
