Normani Kordei

Normani Kordei is a singer and songwriter who has recently emerged as one of the most successful solo pop artists of the decade after transitioning from her career as a member of Fifth Harmony, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. In her blossoming solo career, two out of four of her singles have gone on to chart in the Top 10. Three songs have been RIAA-certified, with “Love Lies ft. Khalid” 5x platinum.

Normani hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and always demonstrated a talent for singing and dancing. At a young age she was cast in the HBO series "Treme," about the neighborhood in New Orleans. In 2012, the songstress would audition for "The X Factor" and wowed the judges. She was selected to be a member of a girl group including Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui, and Dinah Jane that went on to the finale of the show as Fifth Harmony. They went to work putting out an EP, then the albums Reflection and 7/27. The singles “Worth It” and “Work From Home” would chart extraordinarily well, earning them the honor of holding the highest chart spot for a girl group since the Pussycat Dolls in the early 2000s. The music video for “Work From Home” currently has nearly 3B+ views on YouTube, making it one of the most watched YouTube videos of all time.

In 2018, Normani launched her solo music career, officially joining RCA Records. Since then, she’s hit the ground running with the release of several Billboard Hot 100 hit singles and music videos, amassing over three billion streams. Her solo work began in collaboration with DJ Calvin Harris, and her featured song, “Dancing With a Stranger,” on Sam Smith’s 2020 album Love Goes is by far the most streamed song on the entire EP -- amassing over 1 billion streams. She released her first solo single,“Motivation” shortly after, which garnered over 300 million streams on Spotify. After years of high anticipation from fans, Normani released her solo debut studio album, Dopamine. Working with Grammy Award-winner Brandy on the album, Normani’s artistry has been taken to a whole new level.
