Noah Tishendorf

Noah Tishendorf is a defensive lineman for the West Virginia University Mountaineers football team. Tishendorf joined the program after a standout high school career at Lakeridge High School in Oregon, where he played under coach Spencer Phillips and contributed on both the defensive line and at tight end.

During his prep career, Tishendorf recorded 147 tackles, 26 sacks, and 56 tackles for loss. He also contributed offensively with 269 rushing yards and six touchdowns. As a senior, he posted 10.5 sacks and 18 tackles for loss, registering at least one tackle for loss in every game. Tishendorf earned Oregon's Class 6A Defensive Player of the Year honor, a Class 6A All-State Second Team selection, and was recognized twice as the Three Rivers League Defensive Player of the Year. He was also named the state's top preseason defensive lineman entering his final high school season.

Tishendorf's recruitment included interest from programs such as Washington, Washington State, Oregon State, and San Diego State. He initially committed to Oregon State before signing with West Virginia, becoming the Mountaineers' first high school signee from Oregon. At West Virginia, Tishendorf is utilized in a hybrid edge/outside linebacker role within the team's defensive scheme. Observers have noted his quick first step, ability to disrupt the backfield, and physical style of play.

Wearing No. 41 for the Mountaineers, Tishendorf brings a record of high school football production, positional versatility, and a strong work ethic to the Big 12 Conference. He is positioned to compete for playing time on West Virginia's defensive roster.
