Nine Vicious Biography
Nine Vicious, born Treyvion Deronta Echols, is an Atlanta-area rapper who has quickly emerged from the underground hip-hop scene with a sound rooted in trap, rage and cloud rap. Born in Athens, Georgia, in 2002, he began releasing music on SoundCloud before gaining wider attention in 2024 with the single “U Fancy?”
His rapid rise was fueled by a distinctive, melodic and sometimes intentionally chaotic vocal style and influences ranging from Young Thug and Playboi Carti to Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely. Young Thug's YSL camp became an important early connection, with Nine receiving a public co-sign and joining the YSL roster in 2025.
Nine Vicious was particularly prolific in 2025, releasing Studio Addict, Tumblr Music and For Nothing. In 2026, he followed with B4EM and EMOTIONS, the latter becoming his first Billboard 200-charting album, debuting at No. 102. He also attracted additional attention after appearing on Kanye West's Bully.
With his unconventional style, prolific output and connections to some of Atlanta's most influential rap artists, Nine Vicious is regarded as one of the newer names to watch in the underground-to-mainstream hip-hop pipeline.
