Nick Mehta

Nick Mehta serves as a board member at Gainsight, F5, Pubmatic, and Larridin. He is a customer experience guru and team builder.

He served as Gainsight's CEO from 2013-2025, where he focused on building high-performing teams and fostered collaboration across customers, partners, employees, and their communities. As a lifelong sports fan, he often likened his leadership approach to that of a head coach, emphasizing alignment, preparation, and putting people in positions to succeed. Guided by a strong commitment to the Golden Rule, he strived to promote empathy and respect in professional interactions while encouraging open and effective communication.

Prior to joining Gainsight, Nick was the CEO of a leading Software-as-a-Service electronic discovery provider, LiveOffice, where he guided the company through its acquisition by Symantec. Earlier in his career, he held executive leadership roles as a Vice President at both VERITAS Software and Symantec Corporation, gaining extensive experience in enterprise software and technology strategy.

Nick’s entrepreneurial interests began during his college years, when he co-founded a golf e-commerce company during the early internet era. He also maintains a lifelong passion for football and is an enthusiastic supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
