Nick Butter is a British endurance athlete renowned for his world-record achievements, extraordinary expeditions, and unparalleled feats of endurance, both physical and logistical. He is best known for being the first and only person to run a marathon in every country in the world, a monumental achievement that has earned him international recognition, having been featured on TV in over 140 countries. This incredible feat, which took him to all 196 countries, is chronicled in his bestselling book "Running The World." With 11 world records, including four world firsts, Butter has set the bar high.

Butter’s remarkable journey includes running in the Arctic Circle, where extreme temperatures tested his limits, and completing the 850km Camino de Santiago in just 9 days and 5 hours. He ran from London to Paris in just 38 hours, showcasing his ability to push through extreme fatigue. He also circumnavigated Bali, covering vast distances in challenging terrains, and ran the length of Italy, completing 100 marathons in 100 days. He followed that with his circumnavigation of Britain, running a staggering 5,250 miles, nearly two marathons every day for 128 days. Butter has completed over 1,058 marathons, including all the World Majors, the original Ultra Trail World Tour series, and countless more over the past 25 years.
