Nicholas Irving Biography
Nicholas Irving, a former sniper with the Army’s 3rd Ranger Battalion, was nicknamed “Reaper” by his peers. He earned the title during a single 3½-month deployment to Afghanistan as a sniper squad leader, where he was credited with more than 33 enemy kills. He was also the first African American sniper to serve in the 3rd Ranger Battalion.
Irving is currently a shooting instructor in South Texas, where he trains students in precision shooting. He is the CEO and founder of HardShoot. His memoir, “The Reaper: Autobiography of One of the Deadliest Special Ops Snipers,” was released in 2016. He has written further fiction and non-fiction books.
