Nicholas Ballasy

Nicholas Ballasy is a senior news correspondent and video journalist based in Washington, D.C., known for his work in accountability journalism covering American politics and culture. Ballasy has reported on national politics for more than 15 years, questioning political leaders on key issues and breaking news from the nation's capital. A magna cum laude graduate of Rider University with degrees in communications and political science, he has served as a video journalist for CNS News, The Daily Caller, PJ Media, The Intercept, Washington Examiner, and Just the News, with a primary focus on Congress and national political coverage.

Ballasy began his journalism career with internships at ABC-7 in New York City, ABC's "World News Tonight," and CNN's White House Unit. While in college, he created, produced, and hosted the public affairs show "On the Issues" on public access television, which received the Best Public Affairs Show Award from the National Broadcasting Society.
