Neon Trees

Neon Trees is an alternative rock band based in Provo, Utah, with origins in Murrieta, California. The group was formed by Tyler Glenn, who serves as vocalist and keyboardist, and Chris Allen, guitarist and vocalist. The band later expanded to include Branden Campbell on bass guitar and vocals, and Elaine Bradley on drums, percussion, and vocals. David Charles joins the band as a touring guitarist. Neon Trees began performing under their current name in the mid-2000s, inspired by the illuminated trees featured on In-N-Out Burger signs, a concept that resonated with Glenn. Notably, Campbell's father, a designer of neon lights in Las Vegas, contributed to the creation of the lights that inspired the band's name.

The band released the EP "Becoming Different People" during its early touring period in California. The EP included tracks such as "Snap the Flash," "Sister Stereo," "Modern Romantics," and "Ashley Stevenson." Additional unreleased material was recorded during the "Treehouse Sessions."

After solidifying its lineup, Neon Trees gained industry attention with support from The Killers' drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr., which led to a contract with Mercury Records. The band released its debut album, "Habits," through Mercury/Def Jam. The lead single, "Animal," was accompanied by a digital EP featuring four remixes, including one by Glenn.

Neon Trees continued to expand its discography with the release of the holiday single "Wish List" and the live album "iTunes Live From SoHo," which features eight live tracks. The band's work in alternative rock, pop rock, and live performance has contributed to its recognition within the American music industry.
