Nathalie Emmanuel is an English actress known for her work across major film and television franchises. Emmanuel began her acting career in theater, appearing in West End productions such as the musical "The Lion King." She made her professional stage debut at age 10 in the original London cast of "The Lion King," portraying Young Nala. Emmanuel transitioned to television with her role as Sasha Valentine in the soap opera "Hollyoaks," where her character's storylines addressed issues including prostitution and heroin addiction.

Emmanuel gained international recognition for her portrayal of Missandei in the HBO series "Game of Thrones." She joined the series as a recurring cast member in Season 3 and was later promoted to a starring role.
