Nancy Ancowitz

Nancy Ancowitz is a career strategist and business communication coach known for her contributions to the field of introvert literature. She has been speaking, writing, and coaching introverts for many years. Before launching her coaching practice, Ancowitz spent 12 years on Wall Street, where she managed marketing programs for a multibillion-dollar business as a vice president at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Prior to that, she worked at Citibank, where she received an outstanding achievement award for her innovations in creating proposals for international clients. Drawing on her corporate experience as an introvert navigating an extrovert-dominated environment, Ancowitz transitioned her career to support others facing similar challenges.

Ancowitz is the author of "Self-Promotion for Introverts®," published by McGraw-Hill. As a business communication coach, she helps introverts leverage their strengths, articulate their accomplishments, and develop strategies for career advancement. The book features advice from Warren Buffett, Bill Clinton, Hearst Magazines president Cathie Black, and marketing expert Seth Godin. "Self-Promotion for Introverts®" has received critical attention from The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Los Angeles Times, with the latter describing it as the first book with serious research on the topic. Ancowitz is also the author of "Business Writing: Say More With Less," further establishing her expertise in professional communication.

Ancowitz serves as an adjunct instructor at New York University, where she teaches "Self-Promotion for Introverts®," a workshop designed to help individuals use their strengths to increase their visibility in the workplace. She provides coaching to clients ranging from CEOs to emerging leaders in business and creative industries, focusing on career-building, leadership skills, presentation skills, and business writing.
