Munjal Shah is co‑founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hippocratic AI, a pioneering generative artificial intelligence company building safety‑focused large language models specifically for healthcare applications. Under his leadership, Hippocratic AI is developing AI agents designed to support clinicians, enhance patient engagement, reduce healthcare costs, and help address critical shortages in healthcare workforces by delivering scalable, non‑diagnostic services with a strong emphasis on safety and ethical deployment.

Shah is a seasoned entrepreneur and AI innovator with more than two decades of experience founding and leading technology ventures. Earlier in his career, he founded and led several companies that leveraged AI and machine learning, including Andale Inc., one of the first cloud‑based SaaS platforms for small businesses, and Like.com, an AI‑based visual search engine acquired by Google. He also co‑founded Health IQ, a company that applied predictive algorithms to help consumers secure better insurance outcomes and later optimize Medicare Advantage plan selection.

A prolific investor and technologist, Shah has backed more than 40 startups and numerous venture funds in technology and healthcare. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego and a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on artificial intelligence from Stanford University.
