Morri Chowaiki

Morri Chowaiki is an entrepreneur with a career spanning sales, business management, technology, consumer-packaged goods, and e-commerce. Chowaiki began his entrepreneurial journey at age 12, selling rattan furniture. An early adopter in e-commerce, he has worked in manufacturing and software organizations that service major retailers.

Chowaiki started his professional career as the director of sales and marketing at Health and Vitamin Express and later served as senior director of national accounts and e-commerce at Leiner Health Products for nine years.

Chowaiki is known as the inventor of the patented "Hanukkah Tree Topper," a six-pointed star designed for Christmas trees. The product was inspired by his personal experience navigating holiday traditions with his non-Jewish wife. After being unable to find a suitable tree topper, Chowaiki created his own, leading to the launch of his company, One Life Products, which manufactures the "Hanukkah Tree Topper."

He brought the invention to national attention on ABC's business competition series "Shark Tank," where he pitched his business and secured a deal with Daymond John. Following the show, the company entered a licensing agreement with Christmas décor company Kurt Adler, which took over production and distribution. The business generates approximately $2 million in annual revenue, with strong holiday sales. The topper has been the top-selling tree topper on Amazon.com and is available at numerous independent retailers.

Chowaiki is the only entrepreneur from "Shark Tank" to work directly for one of the Sharks, becoming head of sales and retail for The Shark Group, Daymond John's private consulting firm. He has also held roles at Viome, including chief sales officer and head of strategic partnerships. Chowaiki has served as a board member at San Diego Theatres and Reality Changers, and as a strategic advisor at Helen Woodward Animal Center.

In addition to his business roles, Chowaiki is a motivational speaker, aspiring author, and personal consultant and coach. He has spoken at events such as the GrowCo Conference and has acting credits in "Godzilla: The Series" and "Shark Tank." Chowaiki's experience as an entrepreneur, inventor, and executive positions him as a knowledgeable voice on entrepreneurship, innovation, and business leadership.
