Monte Durham

Monte Durham is a fashion authority and television personality recognized as the fashion director on TLC's reality series "Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta." Originally from West Virginia, Durham developed an early interest in fashion inspired by his mother’s style. His background in fashion merchandising and hair styling provided a foundation for his work in the bridal industry. Durham began his career as a personal shopper in Washington, D.C., earned a hair degree in London, and served as artistic director for Elizabeth Arden for 12 years. After styling hair for a bridal show, he transitioned into bridal consulting.

"Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta" is a reality television series on TLC that documents the experiences of staff and brides at Bridals by Lori in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The show is a spin-off of "Say Yes to the Dress." Durham and store owner Lori Allen previously worked together, including on the television show "Platinum Weddings," which led to Durham’s role as fashion director for the series.

Durham’s expertise as a bridal image consultant has been featured in Elegant Bride, The Washingtonian, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Martha Stewart Living, Town & Country, InStyle, and Brides Magazine. He is a frequent guest on CNN, providing style commentary, and has appeared on FOX as a bridal and beauty expert. Durham also traveled to London to cover the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton for TLC. He hosted the podcast "Say Yes to the Dress: Monte's Take," co-hosted with TLC Interactive Producer Candace Keener, offering wedding tips and insights.

In addition to "Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta," Durham is known for "A New You with Monte Durham" and "Say Yes to the Prom." He is the founder of the MONTE Durham hair care line and operates a luxury hair salon in Historic Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, featuring his MONTE line of salon-quality hair products. Durham is recognized for his expertise in bridal fashion, personal style, and television, contributing to the wedding and beauty industries.
