Monolink is the stage name of Steffen Linck, a German singer-songwriter and electronic dance music producer specializing in ambient, techno, electronica, and house genres. Linck is recognized for blending elements of folk rock with electronic music, establishing himself as a prominent figure among live performers who merge club energy with live vocals and instruments. After beginning guitar as a teenager, Linck became immersed in Berlin's electronic scene, combining acoustic guitar, vocals, and electronic textures to create Monolink—a project that fuses live performance with DJ culture.

Linck's career gained momentum with the debut track "The End," produced in collaboration with Acid Pauli. Monolink's productions typically center on songs written on guitar, which serve as the foundation for percussion, samples, and vocal parts often recorded during spontaneous jam sessions. During live performances, Linck plays the original songs in real time, emphasizing a clean and smooth listening experience. This approach distinguishes him from conventional DJs and has helped build a global following.

Monolink's debut album, "Amniotic," collected over 100 million combined streams. The project received support through remixes from leading figures in the house and techno scenes, including Patrice Bäumel, Tale Of Us, Rodriguez Jr., Ben Böhmer, Artbat, Adam Beyer, and Nicole Moudaber, with several remixes achieving Beatport Top 10 placements.

While "Amniotic" introduced a genre-fluid fusion of organic and electronic elements, "Under Darkening Skies" expanded that vision with darker, more cinematic tones. The pause in touring during the pandemic provided Linck the opportunity to write this album. The release was followed by a world tour across the USA, South America, Europe, and Australia. "The Beauty Of It All," Monolink's third studio album, explores themes of beauty, impermanence, and human connection, blending Linck's signature fusion of live instrumentation, songwriting, and electronic production.

Monolink is known for live shows where Linck performs vocals, plays guitar, and simultaneously controls synthesizers and drum machines, combining club beats with the intimacy of live concerts. He has performed at major festivals, including Coachella, Burning Man, Tomorrowland, EXIT Festival, Fusion, and Awakenings. Monolink is among the first artists whose live sets have surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.
