Monica Cepak

Monica Cepak is the CEO of Wisp, a leading women's telehealth provider in the United States. She is the first female CEO of Wisp, bringing more than 20 years of experience in brand and marketing leadership across Fortune 500 companies, disruptor brands, and consumer health startups. Cepak began her career in public relations and brand consulting at Edelman, with international experience in Barcelona, Seoul, and Mexico City. She holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School, specializing in global marketing management, and a bachelor's degree from Princeton University.

Before becoming CEO, Cepak led marketing and growth functions for prominent brands in the technology and consumer sectors. She served as vice president of marketing at Allara Health and vice president of growth at SimpleHealth, where she doubled business year over year and led cross-functional teams for brands including Samsung, LinkedIn, and Artsy. At Lyft, she was among the early hires, building the New York area marketing team and scaling the region into a top national market. Her expertise in women's health and femtech led her to Wisp, where she served as chief marketing officer before advancing to CEO. As CMO, she grew the company 35 percent year over year, invested in new marketing channels such as streaming audio, and expanded Wisp's influencer and out-of-home programs.

Cepak's nontraditional path to the CEO role has contributed to Wisp's evolution in women's health. As a former chief marketing officer turned chief executive, she brings a patient-focused approach and brand vision to the telehealth sector. Under her leadership, Wisp has expanded from a telehealth startup to a comprehensive platform for sexual and reproductive health, offering same-day care and launching products in fertility and menopause. Wisp became the first company to feature the word "vagina" on a Times Square billboard. The company has also been first-to-market with offerings such as DoxyPEP, a prescription antibiotic regimen to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections, and BV Treatment for Men, a prescription partner care therapy for bacterial vaginosis.

Under Cepak's leadership, Wisp serves more than 1.5 million patients across all 50 states. The company has achieved a 69 percent compound annual growth rate over four years with less than $2 million in primary capital. Wisp has received several industry accolades, including Fast Company's World Changing Ideas, recognition among the 5000 Fastest Growing Companies, and a Silver Cannes Lion in Pharma. Cepak has been recognized as one of Forbes' Trailblazing Women in Healthcare, named to Ad Age's 40 Under 40, and included in the Digital Health 100. She is a frequent speaker on women's health, healthcare innovation, and purpose-driven leadership, advocating for patient-centered approaches in the telehealth and femtech industries.
