Moira Kelly

Moira Kelly is an American actress and director whose career spans more than three decades in film, television, and voice acting. Kelly studied drama at Marymount Manhattan College and began her professional journey after being discovered during a senior-year theatrical showcase. Early in her career, she was recognized among the "Promising New Actors of 1992" in John Willis' Screen World, highlighting her potential in the entertainment industry.

Kelly gained widespread attention with her leading role as Kate Moseley in the romantic comedy "The Cutting Edge," a performance that required extensive figure skating training. The film has achieved cult-classic status and remains a notable entry in her filmography. In the same period, she portrayed Hetty Kelly and Oona O'Neill in Richard Attenborough's biopic "Chaplin" and took on the role of Donna Hayward in David Lynch's "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me." Her work in "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me" led director James Gray to cast her in "Little Odessa."
