Mitch Marner

Mitch Marner is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays right wing for the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). Marner was selected fourth overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL Entry Draft, marking the beginning of a career that includes numerous accolades at every level of the sport.

Before joining the NHL, Marner made a significant impact in junior hockey with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He was named to the OHL First All-Star Team and received the Jim Mahon Memorial Trophy as the league's highest-scoring right wing. His junior career culminated in a championship run, during which he won both the Stafford Smythe Memorial Trophy and the Ed Chynoweth Trophy as tournament MVP and leading scorer at the Memorial Cup. Marner joined the Vegas Golden Knights via a sign-and-trade deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs, which included an eight-year, $96 million contract.
