Millie Bobby Brown is a British actress and film producer recognized for her portrayal of Eleven in the Netflix science fiction series "Stranger Things." Brown received critical recognition for her performance, earning nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series with her co-stars and the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series. Brown reprised the role of Eleven throughout the series' run.

Brown began her acting career shortly after arriving in Hollywood, being cast as young Alice in the ABC fantasy drama series "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland." She was later offered the role of Madison O'Donnell in the BBC America paranormal drama-thriller series "Intruders" after a self-taped audition. Born with partial hearing loss in her left ear, Brown gradually lost all hearing in that ear, a challenge she has navigated throughout her career. She has spoken about her upbringing and the financial insecurity she experienced prior to her success with "Stranger Things."

In film, Brown starred in and produced the adaptation of "The Enola Holmes Mysteries" and reprised the role in "Enola Holmes 2" and "Enola Holmes 3." She has also starred in and produced the Netflix films "Damsel" and "The Electric State." Through her production company, PCMA Productions, Brown became one of the youngest individuals in Hollywood to earn a producer credit on a feature film.

Beyond acting, Brown is active in business and humanitarian work. She launched the cosmetics and fashion brand Florence by Mills, targeting Gen Z consumers. Brown was named an ambassador for the fashion brand Louis Vuitton. She was appointed as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, becoming the youngest person to hold this position, and was included on Time magazine's list of the world's 100 most influential people.

Brown expanded her creative pursuits by releasing the novel "Nineteen Steps," inspired by her family history. Her career encompasses television, film, entrepreneurship, and authorship, establishing her as a versatile figure in the entertainment industry.
