Mike Nabors

Mike Nabors is an Emmy and Telly Award-winning broadcast journalist with more than three decades of experience in sports media, television broadcasting, and documentary production. Nabors began his sports broadcasting career in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, before working as a sports anchor in Tallahassee and later as a sports reporter and anchor at WTLV (NBC) in Jacksonville. A graduate of the University of Florida, Nabors has contributed to ESPN, NFL Network, Fox Sports Net, and Comcast Sportsnet, and has served as an anchor and reporter in markets including Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, and Tuscaloosa.

Nabors has worked as a television host for the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Lightning, served as an NFL and SEC sideline reporter, and hosted a variety of studio shows and sports documentaries. He has been the television host for the New Orleans Saints, providing pre- and post-game coverage on Cox Sports Television and YurView Network, and hosted a postgame show with Drew Brees for 14 seasons. Nabors also created the "Errands" segment, which continues to be featured on New Orleans Saints platforms. As a published movie critic, he has contributed reviews for sports films such as "Moneyball," "42," and "Concussion."

Nabors founded Nabors Media Group, developing and producing sports documentaries for clients including Fortune 500 companies and nonprofit organizations such as Moffitt Cancer Center, Joe Maddon's Respect 90 Foundation, and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. He has produced and hosted documentaries featuring figures such as Frank Beamer, Reggie Bush, and Chris Paul. As an author, Nabors wrote "The Brees Way," which provides a behind-the-scenes look at Drew Brees' career in New Orleans and his approach to the game.

Nabors is a professor at Florida Southern College's Barney Barnett School of Business, where he launched courses in sports innovation, entrepreneurship, and the business of sports media for both graduate and undergraduate students. His book, "Don't Quit, Pivot," explores career transformation and entrepreneurship, drawing on his own experiences building a media business and transitioning into academia and authorship. Nabors speaks on topics related to sports media, entrepreneurship, and career reinvention.
