Mike Kubzansky

Mike Kubzansky is the CEO of Omidyar Network, a social impact venture focused on ensuring that human values remain central in the digital revolution. Kubzansky guides the organization’s strategic vision, overseeing investments and philanthropic initiatives that address global challenges such as financial inclusion, civic engagement, and responsible technology. Under his leadership, Omidyar Network has deployed more than $1.2 billion across over 350 organizations and has launched funding efforts to promote inclusive and responsible development of generative artificial intelligence.

Kubzansky’s expertise in impact investing and digital innovation spans nearly three decades across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. His career includes senior roles at Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte), the World Bank Group, and as an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He is a frequent contributor to major publications such as Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, and Stanford Social Innovation Review, and has delivered keynote addresses at events including the Milken Institute Global Conference and Stanford Data on Purpose Summit.

Kubzansky serves on the boards of Norrsken Foundation and the US Impact Investing Alliance, and chairs the Better Than Cash Alliance. He is recognized for convening stakeholders from startups and venture capitalists to policymakers and civil society leaders to shape technology’s role in society. Named one of the “16 People to Watch in 2025” by The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Kubzansky advocates for innovation that advances equity and social good.
