Michele Steele

Michele Steele is a sports journalist, anchor, and host known for her expertise in both financial reporting and sports media. Steele holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Illinois and a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University, providing a foundation for her coverage of the business and competitive aspects of professional sports. Her journalism career began at First Business, a nationally syndicated business television show, where she produced a four-part series on India's economy. Before joining Bloomberg, Steele launched the streaming video network at Forbes and contributed to Forbes business programming on Fox News Channel.

At Bloomberg Television, Steele anchored a morning business newscast broadcast to more than 120 affiliates nationwide and became the network's first full-time sports reporter, covering the business of the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. She conducted exclusive interviews with NCAA President Mark Emmert and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, as well as numerous owners and team executives, establishing her reputation in sports business journalism.
