Michele Malejki

Michele Malejki is a social impact executive specializing in technology-driven corporate responsibility and sustainable development. Malejki serves as global head of social impact at HP Inc. and executive director of the HP Foundation. In this capacity, she oversees strategic programs for HP Foundation and HP Inc. that focus on accelerating the future of work, digital equity, and economic opportunity for millions of people worldwide. Her work spans education, healthcare, and economic development, positioning her as a leader in corporate social impact within the technology sector.

Malejki began her career in investment banking at JPMorgan, focusing on credit risk in the insurance sector. She later transitioned to international development, working with the Alliance for Financial Inclusion in Thailand and Malaysia, and with One Acre Fund in Cambodia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to joining HP Inc., Malejki held roles at MIT Solve and the Clinton Global Initiative, where she served as deputy director of program. With expertise in sustainable development and inclusive finance, she has led impactful initiatives across a range of organizations.

At HP, Malejki has led the transformation of the company’s social impact function. She directs strategy for "HP LIFE," a program of the HP Foundation that offers free skills content for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and lifelong learners. Malejki has also overseen the "HP Future of Work Accelerator," a flagship initiative supporting nonprofits with funding, technology, and mentorship. The Accelerator has served 35 nonprofits across 13 countries, reaching more than 11 million people and providing selected organizations with financial support, HP hardware and solutions, and a six-month training and mentorship program. Her work includes leading global partnerships with UN Women and Girl Rising, reaching up to 10 million women and girls, as well as corporate programs supporting refugees and host communities in Lebanon, Jordan, and Uganda.

Malejki and her team received the inaugural TIME "Team of the Year" award for their commitment to social impact. HP has been recognized as the top technology company in Just Capital's ranking and included in Corporate Knights Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations for multiple consecutive years. Beyond her work at HP, Malejki has served on the UN Women's Global Innovation Coalition for Change, the President's Council of Cornell Women, and Save the Children's Council Action Team Gender Equality. She also served as sustainability director for the ClimateForce: Antarctica expedition led by explorer Robert Swan, OBE. Malejki is a media-trained, multilingual executive known for translating complex global challenges into actionable strategies, and is a recognized voice on the future of work, digital equity, and the role of business in advancing social change.
