Michel Faulkner Biography
Former National Football League (NFL) football player Michel Faulkner began his career as a freshman All-American and a four-year starter at Virginia Tech, later playing in the NFL with the New York Jets. Then, he went on staff at Liberty University as Vice President of Urban Outreach, until he moved to New York City to enter the pulpit, where he served for over 30 years between Harlem and Manhattan. In 2018, he and his wife Saria moved to Philadelphia where he served as the Executive Director of the Philadelphia Council of Clergy, hosts a weekly radio show/podcast called Football, Family, & Faith, and serves on the board of Small Things, a non-profit tackling food insecurity.
Faulkner is a proud father and grandfather, a published author, marathon runner, and a recognized media commentator. He serves as Chaplain for the Upper Marion High School Football team and has recently earned his Doctorate in Ministry from Antioch University.
