Michael Watson

Michael Watson, a British former professional boxer, stepped into the ring from 1984 to 1991. His career was studded with notable achievements including a tenure as the Commonwealth middleweight champion from May 1989 to May 1991. Watson's career was abruptly halted following a near-fatal injury sustained during a match against Chris Eubank in 1991, a bout which was recognized by the KO Magazine as the Round of the Year for Round 11. Following his injury, Watson successfully sued the British Boxing Board of Control for negligence.
