Michael Schur is an established figure in American television, with a career spanning over two decades. Starting as a writer for "Saturday Night Live," he swiftly gained recognition for his work on hit sitcom "The Office," where he also showcased his acting skills as Mose Schrute. Schur's portfolio further expanded as he went on to co-create "Parks and Recreation" with Greg Daniels, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" with Dan Goor, and created "The Good Place," "Rutherford Falls," and the currently airing comedy series "A Man on the Inside".
Aside from his creation and writing roles, Schur has also served as a producer for "Master of None" and "Hacks". His contributions to the television industry have garnered him 21 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, with three wins for his work on "Saturday Night Live," "The Office," and "Hacks." His career milestones were recognized in May 2025 when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
