Mical Jeanlys-White is the founder and CEO of WealthMore, an AI-native wealth tech building the first fully vertically integrated investing and financial planning platform. Jeanlys-White is a regular financial expert on CBS News Philadelphia and host of the podcast All the Wealth. With more than 20 years of financial services experience, she has held senior executive positions at JPMorgan Chase, American Express, Nestle and Accenture.
At JPMorgan Chase, Jeanlys-White served as a managing director and general manager, acting as a changemaker, intrapreneur and culture carrier over a decade-long tenure. She led a $22 billion credit card portfolio, built My Chase Plan, a buy now, pay later product when that market was nascent, and worked on and launched products including Slate, Chase's small-business card, and Sapphire, as well as American Express's co-brand cards. She began her career at Nestle and Accenture.
Founding WealthMore is deeply personal for Jeanlys-White. Her grandmother, a Black, Haitian immigrant and non-English-speaking widow, was excluded from opportunities to grow wealth. Despite being a disciplined saver, her funds languished in low-yield savings and certificate of deposit accounts and never received the attention that could have created a stronger financial future and enabled the transfer of generational wealth. Calculations indicate she would have been a multi-millionaire.
An advocate for financial inclusion, literacy and empowerment, Jeanlys-White has built and launched products designed to make the financial system work better for everyone. She is a staunch supporter of female and diverse founders and a passionate advocate for increasing capital available to diverse entrepreneurs.
Jeanlys-White holds an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and an undergraduate degree from Villanova University. She lives in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, with her husband and three sons. When not building her company, she enjoys time with family and friends on Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
Jeanlys-White's work has been featured in PHL Inno, The Business Journals, Delco Times, Bloomberg, MPA Magazine and Delaware Business Now. She has appeared on the podcast So Money and on Capgemini's podcast series The Women Who Bring to Life What's Next. She has served as a panelist at events including the Yale Impact Investing Conference 2023, the Technology Entrepreneurship Leadership Council at Drexel School of Entrepreneurship 2023 and Black Women Talk Tech: Road to Billions 2023.
