Merit's extensive leadership training included focusing on behaviors, attitudes and techniques to elicit the best in others so they can overcome self-limiting beliefs and achieve their professional and personal goals. 

Among her many accomplishments are backpacking around the world for a full year on her own, being the youngest General Sales Manager in the Chicago radio market and becoming the youngest multiple gold award winner in Sandler's national organization. 

Hundreds of associations and professional organizations across the country have benefited from Merit's personal blend of humor, storytelling, coaching and interactive participatory talks and training workshops. A graduate of Michigan State University, Merit is an active member of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Women Business Owners Advisory Board, TEC Associates, The Alternative Board and the National Speakers Association. Merit has been regularly featured in Selling Power Magazine as an expert advisor.

Merit Gest is a dynamic woman who has a knack for finding the lessons in life's most unusual situations. From walking on hot coals to bungee jumping, from the chicken pox in Moscow to breaking a foot in Israel, Merit's coaching from real life experiences allows people to discover their own lessons in the most unexpected places. She is currently completing books based on the lessons learned in unexpected ways and putting appreciation back in daily life.
