Meghana Indurti Biography
Meghana Indurti is a Chicago-based stand up comedian and writer. She is currently a writer for a comedic short featuring John Mulaney, Sarah Silverman, Ilana Glazer, Maya Rudolph, Abbi Jacobson, and more, directed by Natasha Lyonne.
She was named Chicago Reader’s People to Know in 2016, a Stand Up NBC Semi-Finalist in 2017 by NBC Universal, was a quarter-finalist at Boston Comedy Festival in 2016, and a featured performer at NBC Break Out Comedy Festival in 2019.
Indurti is a founder and producer for Team Us Comedy, known for their monthly, diverse comedy shows in unexpected spaces, recco’d by Vulture, Chicago Tribune, and Chicago Reader. Their comedy album Friends with 401(K) Benefits debuted at #1 on iTunes in 2019.
She is the co-host and producer for podcast "RA RA RA," a discourse in discomfort, available on Spotify.
She studied sketch and TV writing at Second City and iO Chicago, and has written and directed a show for the Chicago Women’s Funny Festival.
Indurti was born in Hyderabad, India and grew up in the Washington, D.C. area. She graduated from the College of William & Mary with Cum Laude honors and a degree in Business Marketing & Entrepreneurship, where she led ad campaigns about mental health awareness and sexism in media.
She daylights as an advertising copywriter who has produced creative work for Apple and Melinda Gates.
