Matt Redman

Matt Redman is a British Christian worship leader, singer-songwriter, and author. He converted to Christianity at age 10 and learned guitar at St. Andrew's Chorleywood. Redman has released 16 albums, written eight books, and co-founded Soul Survivor, a global Christian movement and annual music festival for youth.

He is best known for his two-time Grammy Award-winning single, "10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)," and has helped start three church plants. Redman has won 13 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, and his songs have been covered by artists including Tasha Cobbs, Leonard, and Natasha Bedingfield. His music has charted on Billboard, earning Gold and Platinum certifications, and his contributions have been recognized by the Church of England.

Redman’s books include "The Unquenchable Worshipper" (2001) and "10,000 Reasons: Stories of Faith, Hope, and Thankfulness Inspired by the Worship Anthem" (2017). He has collaborated with Christian musicians such as Chris Tomlin and Tim Hughes and contributed to the "Passion" album series. In 2020, he signed with Integrity Music, releasing new music including the single "The Same Jesus" and a live album.

Redman is married to songwriter and author Beth Redman. They have five children and live in southern California.
