Matt Rambo

Matt Rambo is a standout American lacrosse player known for his elite scoring ability, dynamic playmaking, and leadership across every level of the sport. Born on July 25, 1994, in Glenside, Pennsylvania, Rambo first made his mark at La Salle College High School, where he earned national recognition as a top high school attackman. He then played collegiate lacrosse at the University of Maryland, where he became one of the most decorated players in program history. Rambo set Maryland records for career goals 155 and points 257, and in 2017, he led the Terrapins to their first NCAA championship in over 40 years. That same year, he won the prestigious Tewaaraton Award, given to the nation's best player.

After college, Rambo transitioned seamlessly into professional play. He starred for the Whipsnakes in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), where he was named the league’s first MVP in 2019 and led his team to back-to-back championships in 2019 and 2020. He also plays indoor lacrosse for the Philadelphia Wings in the National Lacrosse League (NLL), demonstrating his versatility across formats. Internationally, Rambo has represented Team USA in both field and box lacrosse, helping the U.S. earn a bronze medal at the 2019 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship. Known for his gritty style, sharp vision, and clutch performances, Matt Rambo is widely regarded as one of the premier players of his generation and a key ambassador for the growth of lacrosse.
