Matt Neff

Matt Neff is the chief executive officer of Sight & Sound Theatres, a faith-based ministry and entertainment organization recognized as the largest faith-based theater company in the United States. Sight & Sound was founded by Glenn and Shirley Eshelman and remains a family-owned business. The organization focuses on bringing the Bible to life through live theater, television, and film. Sight & Sound operates two theaters, one in Ronks, Pennsylvania, and another in Branson, Missouri, drawing more than 1 million attendees annually from around the world.

Neff began his career at Sight & Sound as a stagehand and later led the human resources team before serving as chief administration officer. He eventually became CEO, where his expertise in organizational development and administration has supported the company’s mission and growth. Neff’s leadership complements the creative vision of his colleagues, contributing to the company’s expansion into new areas of faith-based entertainment.

Under Neff’s direction, Sight & Sound has grown its reach in Christian entertainment, employing more than 800 people and sharing original live theater productions with over 30 million audience members. The company has staged productions such as "Joseph," "Moses," and "JESUS," which are known for large-scale sets, live animals, and immersive performances. The production "JESUS," filmed in front of a live audience, has been viewed by more than 5 million people worldwide. Sight & Sound has also expanded into digital streaming and feature films, broadening its impact in faith-based media.

Neff has overseen strategic initiatives including the accelerated development of new shows, the revival of previous productions, and the global distribution of show DVDs. These strategies have contributed to the company’s continued success and strong performance. Sight & Sound’s approach emphasizes both mission and financial sustainability, supported by a corporate culture of trust and collaboration. The company announced the stage production "Joshua" at its flagship theater in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, depicting the biblical journey of Joshua leading the Israelites into the Promised Land.
