Mathieu Chabran

Mathieu Chabran is a financial entrepreneur and co-founder of Tikehau Capital, a European alternative asset management firm. Launching Tikehau Capital in partnership with Antoine Flamarion, Chabran expanded an initial €4 million investment into a global firm managing more than €47 billion in assets, with operations in 17 offices worldwide and a workforce exceeding 767 employees. Tikehau Capital is known for its expertise in private debt, real assets, private equity, and capital markets strategies, and is a publicly listed entity on Euronext Paris.

Chabran began his career at Merrill Lynch, gaining experience in Paris and London within the Principal Investment and High Yield Capital Markets departments. He later joined Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate Debt Market team in London, developing expertise in financial instruments and cross-border investment strategies. Chabran holds degrees from ESCP Business School in Paris and Sciences Po in Aix-en-Provence, with a background in finance and international affairs.

Chabran is a speaker at industry events such as Milken Institute summits, offering insights on private markets, capital allocation, and entrepreneurial culture within large organizations.
