Mary Kellett is a registered nurse, prenatal consultant, and the founder and executive director of Prenatal Partners for Life, a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization that supports families who receive adverse prenatal or postnatal diagnoses. Prenatal Partners for Life brings together parents, medical professionals, legal professionals, and clergy to provide support, information, and encouragement to expectant or new parents navigating challenging medical news. The organization emphasizes the value of every life, offering resources for carrying to term after an adverse prenatal diagnosis and for raising children with special needs.

Kellett's decision to establish Prenatal Partners for Life was influenced by her personal experience. During her pregnancy, she learned her son, Peter, likely had Trisomy 18, also known as Edwards Syndrome, a rare chromosomal condition. After declining an amniocentesis due to concerns about risk, Kellett and her husband chose to carry Peter to term, confronting the challenges and pressures families often face within the medical system after receiving such a diagnosis.

Following Peter's third birthday, Kellett founded Prenatal Partners for Life to support families facing similar circumstances. The organization has since assisted thousands of families across the United States and in 50 countries, highlighting the ongoing need for compassionate, informed guidance for those dealing with adverse prenatal diagnoses. Many families experience pressure to terminate pregnancies after a diagnosis of special needs, and often must advocate for appropriate medical care for their children.

As a keynote speaker and advocate, Kellett combines clinical expertise with personal insight.
