Marsha Ambrosius

Marsha Ambrosius, a Grammy-nominated English singer and songwriter, first started her musical journey as part of the R&B duo Floetry. She then stepped into the limelight as a solo artist, releasing her debut album "Late Nights & Early Mornings" in 2011. Ambrosius continued to expand her musical portfolio with albums such as "Friends & Lovers" (2014) and "Nyla" (2018). Her collaborations extend to working with renowned artists like Michael Jackson, The Game, Nas, and Justin Timberlake. She was also approached by Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment, though she eventually decided to focus on her songwriting and production career.

Ambrosius received significant recognition for her work, including winning the Centric Award at the BET Awards of 2011. Her song "Far Away" received two Grammy nominations in 2011 for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance. Ambrosius also had the privilege of performing at the White House during the National Christmas Tree lighting in December 2011. Her contribution to the music industry continued as she premiered a new song "Don't Wake the Baby" in 2017 and announced a summer tour with Eric Benet titled "The M.E. Tour".

After moving to an independent label, Ambrosius released her first single "Luh Ya" which was part of her then-upcoming album. Her third studio album, titled "Nyla", was announced and released in September 2018. A significant milestone in her career was the collaboration with Dr. Dre on an album titled "Casablanco", which was released in 2024. The album, described by Dr. Dre as some of their "best work", was launched with a listening session in Los Angeles in February 2023. The first single from "Casablanco", titled "The Greatest", was released in December 2023 under Aftermath and Interscope Records.
