Marlee Liss Biography
Marlee Liss is a somatic educator, author, RSW and sparkle-loving lesbian feminist. Liss's sexual assault case set a North American legal precedent after she fought for a restorative justice outcome through the courts. Since then, Liss has founded the Survivors 4 Justice Reform global coalition and has supported thousands in learning about healing trauma, re-imagining justice and violence prevention.
Liss's work has been featured in Forbes, HuffPost and BuzzFeed and on "The Mel Robbins Show." As an award-winning speaker, she has delivered talks for the National Sexual Assault Conference, Vanderbilt University, the University of Toronto, Action Trauma Summit, the Women's Mental Health Conference at Yale and other organizations. Her story was made into a documentary directed by Kelsey Darragh, "The Limits of Forgiveness." Her book on re-imagining justice is slated for publication by Penguin Random House in spring 2027.
