Mark Jackson

Mark Jackson is co-host of "The Mark Jackson Show" podcast with his son, Mark Jackson, Jr., which launched in February 2024 on the Come and Talk 2 Me network. He is known for his faith-based insights and desire to return to coaching.

Jackson is a former professional basketball player and coach. A point guard from St. John's University, Jackson played for the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers, Indiana Pacers, Denver Nuggets, Toronto Raptors, Utah Jazz, and Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association in a career spanning nearly two decades.

After retiring from playing basketball, Jackson became a broadcast commentator for ESPN and ABC alongside coach Jeff Van Gundy and play-by-play announcer Mike Breen. He also worked as an analyst for YES Network's New Jersey Nets games. Jackson later served as head coach of the Golden State Warriors, leading the team to consecutive playoff appearances and contributing to the foundation for the franchise's championship success. He was dismissed after three seasons as head coach.

Jackson returned to ESPN as a game analyst, holding the role for several years. He is known for basketball analysis and his presence as a broadcaster, and frequently speaks on topics such as leadership, teamwork, and overcoming adversity in professional sports.
