Mark Huselid

Dr. Mark A. Huselid is Professor of HR Strategy in the School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR) at Rutgers University. Mark Huselid's research, teaching, and consulting activities are focused on the development of balanced measurement systems to reflect the contribution of the workforce, workforce management systems, and the HR management function to strategy execution and business success. Dr. Mark Huselid was the Editor of the Human Resource Management Journal from 2000-2004, and is a member of many academic and professional boards. The recipient of numerous awards for his research, Mark Huselid is among the most highly cited scholars in the organizational sciences. Dr. Huselid is also a frequent speaker to professional and academic audiences, having delivered nearly 500 presentations throughout the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Asia. In addition, Dr. Huselid has consulted on the topics of HR measurement and HR strategy with dozens of companies around the world. Dr. Huselid's first book, The HR Scorecard: Linking People, Strategy & Performance (with Brian Becker and Dave Ulrich) has been translated into ten languages and is an international bestseller. His second book is The Workforce Scorecard: Managing Human Capital to Execute Strategy. The Workforce Scorecard has been translated into seven languages to date and is also an international bestseller. Mark Huselid's third book is The Differentiated Workforce. Dr. Mark A. Huselid is a frequent speaker to professional and academic audiences. Since joining the SMLR he has also been invited to present his research at University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, MIT's Sloan School of Management, Stanford's Graduate School of Business, Columbia University, Ohio State, the London School of Economics, the University of Kansas, Cornell University, and many others.
