Marie Faustin

Marie Faustin is a New York-based comedian and actress known for her storytelling, crowd work, and comedic exploration of modern dating and relationships. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, GQ Magazine, MTV, HBO, BET, and Comedy Central, establishing her as a prominent voice in contemporary stand-up comedy.

Faustin's television career includes appearances on "Broad City," Comedy Central Stand-Up, MTV's "Girl Code," VH1, The BET Awards, and TruTV. She served as a lead on "Vice Live," a live primetime variety show on Viceland, and co-hosted Oxygen's "Very Real Talk." Her additional credits include HBO's "The Damn Michael Che," "Ziwe," Don't Tell Comedy, "Survival of the Thickest," "Babes," and "Search Party."

On the comedy festival and live performance circuit, Faustin was selected as one of Just For Laughs Montreal's New Faces and was named a Comedian You Should Know by Vulture. She has performed at Comedy Central's Clusterfest and TBS' New York Comedy Festival. Faustin also co-hosted the stand-up showcase "Comedy at the Knit" at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn.

In podcasting, Faustin co-hosted "The Unofficial Expert" with Sydnee Washington, which was recognized by Time Out as one of the best New York City podcasts. She and Washington later launched "MESS," a weekly podcast on the Big Money Players Network and iHeartPodcasts, where they discuss life and pop culture. Faustin has also co-hosted "Peak 2000s," a show revisiting pop culture moments from the early 2000s.

Faustin has created original content beyond stand-up and podcasting. She hosts, co-created, and executive produces "Why Are You Single?," a dating game show on Tubi, alongside Dave Mizzoni. In each episode, Faustin introduces a single dater and four potential suitors, guiding the process as the participants' dating histories are revealed and decisions are made with input from the live audience. Faustin and Mizzoni developed the format on stage before bringing it to a national streaming platform.
