Maria Sansone

Maria Sansone is an Emmy Award-winning American television host, podcaster, and cookbook author known for her extensive career in broadcast journalism and lifestyle media. Sansone began her broadcasting career before her teenage years, earning recognition as the youngest reporter in the history of network television when she was contracted by ABC Sports to host "Wide World of Sports for Kids." She interviewed prominent sports figures including Jim Kelly, Michael Jordan, Bill Cowher, and Tommy Lasorda before turning 13. Sansone later co-hosted "Gladiators 2000" with Ryan Seacrest and contributed as a reporter for "NBA Inside Stuff."

After graduating from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications, Sansone became a VJ for MTVU, hosting and producing shows from college campuses and spring break locations. She expanded her reach as host of the morning web show "The 9" on Yahoo and served as a lifestyle reporter and host for WNBC 4 New York's "New York LIVE." During this period, she also hosted the nationally syndicated "1st Look" on NBC and launched "Maria's Pet Project" at LX New York, facilitating pet adoptions. She is the creator and host of the "MOM2MOM with Maria Sansone" podcast and video series, which has received Edward R. Murrow Awards and an Emmy nomination.
