Margarida Matos Rosa

Margarida Matos Rosa is a compelling speaker and thought leader in European economic policy, competition enforcement, and financial regulation. She offers unparalleled insights drawn from her transformative leadership as President of the Portuguese Competition Authority, AdC, from 2017 to 2023.

Under her exceptional leadership, the AdC rose from 40th to 8th place globally among competition enforcers, demonstrating her remarkable ability to drive strategic transformation and navigate complex stakeholder environments. As Vice-Chair of the International Competition Network, ICN, and a member of the OECD Competition Committee Bureau, Rosa helped shape global antitrust policy during critical periods of digital markets evolution, pandemic disruption, and inflationary pressure.
