Conservative political commentator, bestselling author, and gay rights activist Margaret Hoover is the host of PBS’ "Firing Line with Margaret Hoover," a reboot of the longest-running public affairs show in television history. A CNN contributor, she has served in The White House under President George W. Bush, in the Department of Homeland Security, on Capitol Hill and on two presidential campaigns. She is the great-granddaughter of Herbert Hoover, the 31st U.S. President.
