Marco Camisani Calzolari

Marco Camisani Calzolari is an internationally recognized AI and technology expert and senior advisor with 35 years of practice, six books and more than 500 keynotes delivered across institutional, corporate and public events worldwide. He specializes in strategic communication, AI governance and ethics, digital risk prevention, disinformation, cybersecurity communication and public trust in institutions.

Camisani Calzolari holds three institutional appointments, including as an expert at the National Cybersecurity Agency, ACN, under Italy's Presidency of the Council of Ministers; as a member of the Expert Committee on Italy's National AI Strategy 2024-26; and as a member of the European Commission's General Purpose AI Code of Practice Working Group. He has been the subject of a University College London academic case study, "The Digital Renaissance Man." He is an EB-1 Extraordinary Ability U.S. permanent resident based in New York.

Camisani Calzolari has spoken at the U.K. Parliament's House of Lords at the Palace of Westminster on artificial intelligence and democracy, and at the United Nations in New York on artificial intelligence and risks for minorities. He is a guest lecturer in Imperial College London's Executive MBA program, an adjunct professor of cyber-humanities at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, and has lectured at the London School of Economics, the University of Hawaii and the Italian Ministry of Defence, ISSMI. He has been honored as a Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy in 2024, granted the Freedom of the City of London in 2022 and awarded the Keynes Sraffa Award in 2024.
