Manisha Tank

Manisha Tank is a British television journalist and broadcaster whose career spans more than 25 years across major international news organizations. Tank studied philosophy, politics, and economics at the University of Oxford, providing a foundation for her expertise in global affairs and international business journalism. She began her broadcasting career as a markets reporter and newsreader for BBC News 24, later presenting programs such as the BBC's "Six O'Clock News" and "World Business Report." As a senior broadcast journalist at the BBC Business Unit, Tank reported daily from the London Stock Exchange for the early morning edition of "World Business Report."

Tank was first posted to New York, where she reported from Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange for Reuters Television, before returning to London to cover EU markets and present business news bulletins between London and New York. She also presented the Six Forum, the interactive segment of the BBC "Six O'Clock News." Tank later joined CNN International, anchoring "CNN Newsroom" and contributing to the network's international coverage from Hong Kong and London. At CNN International, she hosted flagship shows including "World Business Today," "News Stream"—recipient of the Asian TV Awards for Best TV News Program—and "Talk Asia," where she interviewed figures such as Robert De Niro and Ed Sheeran.

Tank received the Summerson Goodacre & Daily Telegraph Wealth Management Award for Best Industry Commentator, recognizing her credibility in business news and financial journalism. Throughout her career, Tank has interviewed CEOs, founders, policy experts, celebrities, and political leaders on topics ranging from geopolitics and economics to technology and entertainment. Her reporting and moderation have addressed issues such as the Net Zero transition, digitalization, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies for enterprise transformation.

After her tenure at CNN International, Tank took on roles as a moderator, emcee, podcast host, and consultant, frequently appearing at conferences and events in Singapore. She hosted the Earthshot event in Singapore and is an angel investor in companies aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with interests in gender equality, rural development, and sustainable transition technologies. Tank is recognized for her depth in journalism, focus on emerging technologies, and expertise in moderating discussions on business, sustainability, and digital transformation.
