Madeleine Stowe

Madeleine Stowe Mora is an actress known for her appearances spanning television and film. Her initial work was mostly on television, later making headway with her role in the 1987 crime-comedy film Stakeout. Stowe's filmography includes prominent roles in Revenge, Unlawful Entry, The Last of the Mohicans, Blink, Bad Girls, China Moon, 12 Monkeys, The General's Daughter, and We Were Soldiers. For her commendable performance in the 1993 independent film Short Cuts, she received the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actress. Additionally, her portrayal of Victoria Grayson, the main antagonist in the ABC drama series "Revenge" from 2011 to 2015, earned her a nomination for the 2012 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Drama.

Stowe's acting career took a brief pause in 1996 when she decided to focus on her family life. Yet, she made a triumphant return in 1998 with films like The Proposition, Playing by Heart, and The General's Daughter. Her later accomplishments include roles in the science-fiction film Impostor in 2001, the war film We Were Soldiers in 2002, and occasional appearances in TV productions such as "Saving Milly" and "Southern Comfort."

In 2019, Stowe was featured in the Netflix series "Soundtrack," though it was, unfortunately, canceled after its first season. She later co-starred in the Fox musical drama pilot "Mixtape" and is set to appear in the upcoming Max It prequel series "Welcome To Derry."

Other than her acting career, Stowe is known for her humanitarian efforts. In 2008, she traveled to Haiti, contributing to the foundation of Artists for Peace and Justice. Serving on the Board of Directors of the foundation, she continues to be a steadfast supporter of the organization, demonstrating her commitment to using her platform for the greater good. Stowe is also vocal about multiple sclerosis and her experience watching her dad deal with his battle.
